Understanding The Mass

Mass will have a more positive meaning when you experience all 4 sessions of “Understanding the Mass”, which took place on Wednesday evenings this past February and March 4th.
We were fortunate to have Monsignor James Mongelluzzo, a master teacher of the Liturgy, guide us through the Mass. He took us through the four parts of the Mass: The Introductory Rite, The Liturgy of the Word, The Liturgy of the Eucharist and The Concluding Rite. He explained what each part means, highlighted its historical origins and recommended ways that we can participate more fully in each part of the Mass.
