These ministries are devoted to educating the youth and adults of our parish and nurturing the development of their Catholic Christian faith.

CATHECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD is a program of religious formation, based on Jesus as the Good Shepherd, which helps a child (3, 4, and 5 years old) to further develop his/her relationship with God in a developmentally appropriate way.  We have trained catechists and volunteers. They meet on Sunday mornings from 9-10:15 am.

  
 THE CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD is for  children 5 years of age and older. Each Sunday at the 10:30am Mass during the Liturgy of the Word, the children are invited to hear the Word of God proclaimed and then discussed at their own level, so that they may reflect upon how the Gospel of the day relates to their daily lives. A leader, who prepares in advance, and an assistant, who helps direct the children, facilitate each gathering.  Children are invited to come forward as often as they can, and new members who are able to assist or lead once or twice a month are welcome.
