These ministries respond to the needs of parishioners and the local
community with kindness and compassion.
The BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT ministry supports those who have lost a loved one for a period of one year after the loss. A card and appropriate booklet are sent immediately following the funeral and four books are sent over the course of the year. A card is sent on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day to a spouse or child, acknowledging that it is the first Mother’s Day or Father’s Day without the loved one. A special card and poem are sent on the first Christmas. A card and booklet are sent on the first anniversary of a loved one’s death.

The MINISTRY TO THE SICK AND HOMEBOUND is one of love, compassion, and caring for the elderly who are living at home or in local nursing homes and are not able to come to church. The group provides Communion services regularly. Trained volunteers bring the Eucharist and lead the rosary as a source of joy and comfort, enriching their spiritual well-being.Elaine Hackett, (508) 331-4639, [email protected]
The HANDICAPPED EQUIPMENT LENDING PROGRAM (H.E.L.P.) is a program that temporarily loans items, free of charge, such as walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, potty chairs, and so on. Donations of similar items, in good condition, are also accepted. Emery Gaudet, (978) 855-6821, [email protected]
FOOD PANTRY MINISTRY volunteers work to organize and distribute food from our Food Pantry to those in need from our parish family and the surrounding communities. Food is distributed on Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.Laura Petkewich, (978) 342-2978, x104, [email protected]
The CATHOLIC YOUTH IN ACTION (CYIA) is a group of parishioners and their friends, grades 9-12, who participate in activities such as charitable projects, fundraisers, mission trips, informal get-togethers, and religious experiences. Teens usually meet once a month.
