For awareness of the times we betray like Judas, deny like Peter, and act like Pilate washing our hands of those who need us; for mercy for these times that we abandon Christ; we pray to the Lord.
For Eucharistic revival; for reverence and awe in the house of God; that every knee should bend, and every tongue confess the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist; we pray to the Lord.
For conversion of rulers like Pilate and Herod, who abuse their power and oppress their people; we pray to the Lord.
For Anthony Babin, Felicia Patenaude, Evan Patenaude, and Aidan Finn, who are preparing to receive the sacraments of our faith this Easter; that they stay close to Jesus in this holiest of weeks, and ponder the Cross to know his mercy and love; we pray to the Lord.
For all who are ill and broken in spirit; for all who have been abandoned and betrayed; and for Pope Francis; that all will know the love of the Lord who suffered for all and gives healing and hope to body and soul; we pray to the Lord.
For all who have gone before us, and for John Lattanzi, who recently died, and for Marko DiSessa, Linda Wood, Pat O’Malley, Natalie Wheeler, Henry Cox, Betty Zanghi, Father Elisse Crey and Father Roland Renaud, whom we remember at this Mass; for their souls to be saved by the passion of Christ; we pray to the Lord.
For all service men and women, and especially those in harm’s way, and for their loved ones; and for the intentions in our Parish Book of Prayers and on our Prayer Line; and for all those prayers deep within our hearts, that are known to God alone; we pray to the Lord.
