What goes up, must come down… On Monday, January 13th at 8:30am, we will “undecorate” the church from Christmas. Please let us know if you are able to help! Thank you.
Bishop McManus encourages us to "reverently observe the Day of Prayer and Penance on January 22nd ... to renew our resolve to live and proclaim the Gospel of Life. ... Our active participation in the shared commitment to the sacredness of Human Life and the dignity of the human person will, with God's grace, truly work toward the building up of a Culture of Life and a Civilization of Love".

Save the date! Father will be holding a Holiday Open House at the Rectory on Sunday, January 5th, from 1pm to 4pm.
January 5th is The Feast of The Epiphany, when the Magi visited the Holy Family and gave gifts to the Newborn King. So let us celebrate Christmas and ring in the New Year together. Bring an appetite and a thirst because there will be heavy appetizers and adult beverages.
Hope to see you there.
The Parish Office will be closed on New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and the day following New Year's Day, Tuesday, December 31st through Thursday, January 2nd.
Have a safe entry into 2025!
Father Ken will finish his series ‘The Greatest Story Ever Told’, an overview of Sacred Scripture, on Wednesday, January 22, at 6:30pm in Room M8 in the Parish Family Center. He will also discuss at the end what the next adult faith sharing/formation opportunity will be.
All are welcome!
If you cannot attend Mass this Christmas, you can stream Christmas Eve Mass from St. Paul's Cathedral, celebrated by Bishop McManus, which will start at 9:30pm. Click the link above find Mass details.
We will prepare the church for Christmas after the 6pm Mass on Sunday, December 22nd, and after 8am Mass on Monday, December 23rd. We need a lot of hands to help decorate the church. Please let us know if you are able to help. Thank you!
The Parish Office will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and the day following Christmas, Tuesday, December 24th through Thursday, December 26th.
Have a Blessed, Happy & Merry Christmas!
On the three Wednesdays in December before Christmas -- the 4th, 11th & 18th -- Father Ken will offer an overview of Scripture which shows that the Bible is the story of our salvation which God has written through Jesus Christ. It will be held in Room M8 in the Parish Family Center.
All are welcome!

The online collection of homilies by Father Ken, Monsignor Jim and Deacon Mick can be streamed at any time. You can easily revisit one of your favorites, listen to one that you may have missed, or send one to a friend. Click on the link above to view and listen at any time of the day or night.
Here is the simple, but definitive guide to weather-related cancellations at Our Lady of the Lake:
1) If there is a delay in opening Leominster schools due to bad weather, there is no daily Mass and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament will begin at noon.
2) If there is no school in Leominster due to bad weather, daily Mass, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Religious Ed classes are all cancelled.
As always, please use your best judgement when travelling outside during wintertime.
Please click on the link above to see Father Ken's survey in this week's bulletin. You can cut out the page from the bulletin, put it in an envelope and drop it in the collection, mail it to or drop it off at the office, hand it to him in person, or email your responses. If you have any comments or suggestions for other offerings, please feel free to include them on the back of the survey or another piece of paper.
Please return your survey by Monday, November 11, as we hope to have three meetings before Christmas, starting on Wednesday, December 4th.
Thank you for your interest, feedback and participation.
The whole month of November is dedicated to praying for our loved ones who have gone before us. All Souls Remembrance Cards are available on the tables at the entrances of the church. Please write the names of your deceased loved ones and place the card in the gold box located in front of the altar. All will be prayed for at all Masses during the month of November.
The Parish Office is closed on Monday, October 14th in observance of Columbus Day and Indigenous People's Day. No Religious Education classes will be held.
Many homilies from all Our Lady of the Lake clergy (and special guests) are available by clicking the link above. Go back and re-listen to those that were especially inspirational for you and catch up on any that you may have missed. They may be streamed to any internet connected platform.
