	These ministries respond to the needs of parishioners and the local community with kindness and compassion.

	COMPASSIONATE COMPANIONS is a Christian ministry of support for those who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The group meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 7PM in the Parish Center of Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main Street, Leominster, MA.

	The FUNERAL MINISTRY prepares the rectory hall for receptions following funeral services and assists parish families who have lost a loved one. These volunteers set up the hall, serve food provided by the family of the deceased, and clean the hall after the reception. The Parish provides coffee and paper goods as needed. Arrangements to use the rectory hall following a funeral service should be made through the parish office.

	The NURSING HOME MINISTRY is one of love, compassion and caring for wonderful elderly people who are confined to a nursing home. The group provides regularly scheduled communion services at nearby nursing & assisted living facilities. Those interested are invited to join this ministry once or twice a month to share the Catholic faith and enrich the spiritual well being of the elderly.
